xmas update

Thought I better do an entry update on how xmas went etc.

~~Couple of days before xmas was nice as we just relaxed on Scotts mums farm. It was so peaceful out there and nice. I even fell asleep in the afternoons lol

~~Xmas day began with a big as breakfast at the farm...bacon, egg, tomatoes, hasbrowns, onions and mushrooms, oh and also hotcakes! I didnt eat too much as I knew there was lots more food to come in the day!
We opened the presents with Scotts mum and partner which was cool as. Santa got me a lot of cool things in my stocking hehe. Scotts mum got me a big ass bag filled with stuff too, and some satin sheets and cool as cocktail coasters for us both. Scott got the pack rack and bag he wanted for his bike. As his mum handed our presents to us she said 'Shandi you are easy to buy for. Scott you are bloody expensive to buy for' lol. She went nuts as she always does in spending but hey she can afford to pay it all off!

~~We then went into New Plymouth to my parents where we had a big ass roast for lunch, My nana and Aunty, Uncle and Cousin(which hadnt seen in ages) was there so that was cool. More present swapping. I got vouchers, a cool dolphin calender and bits and pieces.
We then went to Scotts Aunties farm to have dinner. BBQ dinner which was nice. Was cool out there too. Got roped into playing volley ball which I totally sucked at but was cool. Also had wine with a strawberry in it which was yummy!

~~Boxing day Scott headed back to Palmy as he had to work (since we will be moving give him extra $$)
I went with my brothers to the rebel sale just so I could spend my vouchers on some shoes I need for walking etc. And I wanted to get them so I could show my parents what I had got with them! Rest of the avo I just chilled and caught up with couple of mates.

~~27th Dec!! This was spent at the horse races in Taranaki!! My mate had organised tickets for us to go in a tent all day(good view and it was raining as) with free food and drink and it only cost $40!! You got 8 free drinks before you had to pay...gosh that was enough for us though lol Yet we still bought some later. It was cool catching up with old school mates I remember from way back as primary school. My mate won a 20" lcd tv and surrround sound that day too all because of some race. However, we cannnot really remember how she won it (not that we drunk that much honest lol) A band played on until about 8.30 which was really cool and it had fined up so was cool.

~~28th Dec. Went out for lunch with some old mates. Was bloody nice too. Had a look around the foresore and chilled in the sun with them too.

~~29th Dec. Went back to Palmy. Long drive!! Rain all the way :( Unpacked and spent couple hours up at the hospital as Scott had an appointment. Laxed all avo and watched Scooby Doo and tv that night hehe

~~Yesterday. Went to Wellington for most of the day to look at places to live. Got to have a look in one place which was a bit hrmm but nice too. Other places cant look until next week cause of holidays so only saw outside. So we will go back Friday to have a look and hopefully get a place!!
Was ok driving down until got into welly. Man what a mission to drive around such small streets and so many hills. Gonna take me a while to get used to it and not be so scared.Took at bit to get back to palmy as just out of Paraparam was shit loads of traffic. Like i wasnt even in second gear all the way to Otaki where it finally spread out. So took ages to get back. suppose thats what you get with New year coming up!

~~Today has been cool too. Went out to Scotts mate this morning so he could have a ride on his other bike as he is looking at buying it. We then sat and watched some anime which was bloody strange as it always is, but was cool.
Im so tired for some reason though havent done much. Im quite enjoying relaxing for a bit as I know I have so much to do and organise before the move!! This week ill be doing lots, then we will be going away on the saturday for bout a week to Taupo and Napier which will be good too.

~~Well tonight is New Years. Scott and I dont really care to do much for it these days. We went out earlier and got a couple of Dvds out to watch later and some lemonade to mix with midori for a relaxing drink.
