Normal week

Nothing much to report. Im not sick yay, though my throat has been feeling a lil itch today :( *fingers crossed dont want it*
Work this week has been good and a bit busier. Had two new bubs start on Monday. One is like nearly 5months he is so cool such a character and has a funny laugh on him. The other is russian and is nearly two. He is quite sweet.
Ive really been coming home from work this week where I lax out, do dinner, clean up then sleep! Today after work we went to the Hutt to pickup the fish salt and finally get my sunglasses as my late bday pressie from scott yay. They are flash and will be so good for driving. they are kinda a lil big for my face then what in used to but thats ok.
Yay i have my friend from Palmy come saturday to stay and catch up. No doubt there will be some drinking done that night and a few sore heads the next day lol. Scott has his mate from taranaki staying too so thats good, someone to keep him entertained while us girlys gossip and shop etc.
Well its a lazy dinner tonight, sausage rolls with gbread some egg and prob salad since im soooo stuffed. By thursday it feels like a damn friday!!!

Te Papa...Walk like an Egyptian

Hey all.
Nothing to much to report really. Have been extreamly tired this week especially on thursday night i was in bed and out to it at 8.30. my body felt so drained and achy too. Got to work the next morn and lady i work with who was exhausted too and did the same thing as me early night lol. must have been something in the air perhaps as others have said the same whom i dont work with.
Last night didnt feel so exhausted. Managed to do the cleanning and washing so it gives me a weekend free of doing that crap. Cleanned my fishes home last night too, yay. I think they like it once new water goes in as they go crazy in the tank speeding from one side to the other. Had the shrimp try and attack the vacuum as i cleanned it but if it got to close to him he was off lol. Quite amusing to watch.
Today we went to Te papa as they have an egyptian exhibition (scott loves that stuff and i dont mind it too). We had a look at some of the other things first. Was so so, Scott wasnt too interested in spending lots of time at the other things as he doesnt like musems too much only if something hes into i guess or they have 'live' stuff lol. We had to pay something like $9 each to get into the egyptian thing and no cellphones on or take photos. They had remains of mummies. I found it quite interesting actually and wow at the fact of how old the artefacts and mummies were. They were all so well preserved for us to view. We saw some cool jewerlly and things you can buy....holy the price was unreal. One bracelet thing cost $240!!. Scott saw a big ass statue for like $1000 and a big ass necklace that was shaped like a bug with a gem as the body for like $4000!!!!
So yeh we had fun there. Came home and chilled for the day really, enjoyed the sun.Cooked us a mean as late lunch.
Tonight we are just chilling i think with a friend maybe watch a movie, will see.

New hair at work...

Brr it turned out cold today, very very windy. What a mission to get the washing in when got home. Was going to go for a walk but flagged it have rushed around lots this avo and cleanned up a bit so thats me lol.
Thankies for the hair comments. Scotts reaction was "oh my god"(which I took in a bad way) when Iwalked in. I was like "thanks" lol. James was like "holy you look so differnt" lol
Scott later admitted i looked very hot with curly hair *wink wink* :D
Curls had kinda gone by morning i wet my hair and left it down for work. Everyone was like "cool you got your hair down", i was like "no i got it cut it was longer". lol
All the kids looked at me twice and had a few say it was nice. The lil 7 and half month old I look after couldnt stop staring. When he figured out it was me he gave me a big as smile :)

New Hair

New Haircut and colour!! I got her to curl it too as ive never had curly hair so wanted to know what it was like.. I feel so posh or something lol. Anyway front and back view. She put in some blond and caramel highlights. I was going to go some dark colour but ill do that winter so the sun doesnt fade it.... Feels so good being cut was in need big time!!

Weekend & Birthday Dinner

Time for an update....

Had a pretty good weekend. Friday was kinda shit but yeh. Saturday weather was crappy as and I felt yuck too(maybe caused from alcohol consumption lol). Went into the hutt to get some stuff for the fish which we found out we had to order anyway. Seems everyone was going that way instead of central. usually when we go out that way its not too busy.
Saturday night went out for dinner with my old school mates and their partners and Scott for my late birthday thing. Went to a maylasian place. Was bloody nice. Very spicey my dish turned out to be but great!!!My mates partner thought he could handle spicer of the same dish, he was sweating like a pig but ate it all lol. We went out to play pool after that which was cool. Then came home.

Sunday not too much really. Caught up with a mate where we went to Porirua. I ended up buying some cool boots. So not what i would have got but Scott and our mate said they looked awesome so i took their word:) thy are like suede material not leather very differnt.

Monday was a monday as usual. Want to do a roast chicken for dinner but realised we dont have a roasting dish none came with the flat so i had to whip out to porirua briscoes and get one plus i also got a small frypan which was half price :)

Anyhow I better go and start the roast.

26 Tommrow :S

Another year older tommorw (14th). Will be 26. Kinda depressing really lol. Man has the year flown by.
Dunno what will happen on my birthday appart from work, who knows I could get a surprise, I could not?? Im not too fussed but I at least like my close friends to remember and family hehe.
On Saturday night I have planned for my old school buddies and their partners to join Scott and myself for dinner somewhere. Not sure where yet, was thinking of something Thai, but I have just rung the place I have heard is really really good and they dont take reservations?? Whats with that?? So I will get hold of my friends and see what they want to do.

I am shattered as usual and its only Tuesday, mind you it was wet all day today so that ment inside all day. The day dragged lots!! And at 6pm I have a two hour staff meeting to go to, joy!! :(

Well its bout 5pm I better go and do some things I needa do and have a shower before this stupid meeting!!

Gorgeous sun and Hannibal Rising

Another weekend nearly over yet again!!
Yesterday was great, I had the most relaxing day ever. All I did was washing (as I had cleanned the house friday night so I had all weekend free). Scott and I then went and picked up a mate where we had some lunch in the sun and then sat sunbathing at our place while chatting and listening to music. It was such a good afternoon of pure relaxing with great company:) I got a lil pink but not too bad phew hehe.

Last night Scott and I went and grabbed a bite to eat in central. We went to this place called Satay Noodle, they had lots of rice and noodle dishes etc.
We then went to the movies to see Hannibal Rising, finally!!! It was quite a good movie, so wasnt what I expected but then all the other moives of it have their own style as did this one. The actor who was evil played his part so well, was great :) Yeh ok I know im sick for liking all those evil, scarey, gory, horror type movies lol.
We were so shatterd afterwards we went home to bed. We did get invited out but we decided to flag that.

Today I need to do some stuff for work and then we maybe going to the beach not sure yet. Then later on we are catching up with Scotts nana who is in town and have dinner with her.
I was looking forward to going for a ride on Scotts bike, have finally plucked up some courage to go on it down here and I even got some jeans i can wear on it. but noooo cant go :( as Scott is very sore on his upper body from the gym. He says he owes me big time ;) ;) that he does. Maybe i will make him take me out on my birthday next week?? hrmm thats an idea

Usual week

Been a usual week, work, sleep, work, sleep hehe. Have kept up my walks so far yayies:)
Scott has joined a gym, i have yet to go a suss it out, it sounds really good by what he said and phamplets he brought home. Its in Porirua, not too far away!
I have booked myself in for a haircut and colour in a couple of weeks yay. Dunno what to get yet. Wanted it like next week as a birthday treat but they are fully booked so the following week will have to do! Hopefully they do a good job and exactly what i want when i decide on the day.
Went shopping after work today, got myself pair of jeans, a cardy and zip up hooded polo fleece from good ol Glassons. Intended on jeans only but ya know how it goes :P Want to get myself a nice going out top but another day.
This month is flying by too, pretty scarey, years go fast these days.

Well im off, totally shatterd. TGIF for sure.!!!

Well we didnt end up going to the movies on sat night in the end. Scott wasnt keen on going out he couldnt be bothered and yeh so we didnt. I just sat at home and done nothing really, and then couldnt sleep at all that night, was so wide awake while Scott was snoring away!!

Sunday I caught up with some old mates. I went to one of their houses as i woulda got lost trying to find a park in central etc. she lives like a 20min walk from town so we just walked in.
Met our other friend in town where we went and checked out the Chinese Newyear fesitval thing. Yeh a bit late for it but ahh well. We went to the arena where they had lots of food and some shows etc. It was so damn hot in there that we didnt stay for long. We ended up walking around the waterfront then into central town for a drink. After that we went and waited for the parade which was ment to start at 2.15 but was 15mins late. It was quite cool with their dragons n stuff and cute lil kiddies dressed up. (as seen above)
When I got home Scott and I and a mate went to oriental bay for a swim, we met another mate their too. The water proved to be a lil colder then what it has been lol. I was the only non whimp one who dived right under. scott was out like a flash as was one of the mates, me and the other one stayed in for a while where it was quite nice if you kept your shoulders under. there were lots of people there but not so many swimming, just sunbathing.
Had a bbq when we got back which was yummy.
Had a mate over again as she hadnt seen saw3 and we have got it we all had pizza for dinner and watched it.
So that has been my happenings last couple of days.

Picnic and night out

Last night for dinner I had a picnic at work. It was where the parents/family and children came and brought their own dinner and we all sat down on big rugs to eat. My boss supplied the staff with dinner which consisted of bread, camerbert, tomatos, cucumber, humus, strawberries, nuts and grapes. was rather nice.
I learnt a lot about some of the families as in the mornings when they drop off their child you dont seem to have much time to chat as they need to get to work.
We were lucky the weather was really nice.

Scott and I went out last night with some mates we have made down here to play pool and then got to see a band with someone they knew who played the drums in it. Was quite good seeing a bit more of Welly. I was sober(and scott) as driving, and others were a lil bit drunk around us. Was amusing for a while but then got a bit over it as they were getting drunker and annoying lol. got home bout half midnight where we were both totally tired as.

Today I have really only cleanned the place up and enjoyed some of the sun.
We may be going to the movies tonight if the bois get their shit together lol. To see Hannibal Rising :) we have all seen the others so yeh.
